The service terms identify Proactis Tenders Limited, company number SC115090, and Companies House records the company as active, incorporated on 12 December 1988, previously Millstream Associates Limited, with web-portal and data-processing activities. This is a mature legal operator within the Proactis group, although the public myTenders interface and several guides retain older terminology and long-lived legacy URLs.

The paid PRO and Demo products target public or private buying organisations that need compliant notice publication, documents, clarification, supplier selection and electronic response handling. The supplier side is a free search, Interest List, document, Q&A, messaging and secure-response interface for notices published through the portal; it is not positioned as a full-market intelligence subscription.

Supplier registration, search and response are free for notices published on myTenders. Buyer PRO is quote-led and can be annual, pay-as-you-go or multi-year, with separate branded Buyer Profile and alert add-ons mentioned; public numeric buyer prices and user limits are not stated. Comprehensive supplier alerts are sold through the separate Tenders Direct product and should not be combined with the free myTenders plan in comparisons.

The portal uses password-protected accounts, secure electronic postboxes and privacy terms that refer to strict procedures and security features after receipt; supplier passwords require at least nine characters with mixed character types. Submission and response documents are retained for two years after the notice deadline. Parent-group Proactis reports current ISO 27001 recertification, but the public evidence does not map the certified scope specifically to myTenders or publish encryption, MFA, hosting region, backup, penetration-test or incident-response details. Supplier help is available by phone/email and buyers receive initial training and ongoing support.

Supplier coverage is limited to notices created and published by buyers through myTenders. The site explicitly directs broader UK and ROI alert coverage to Tenders Direct.

This is buyer-entered portal data rather than third-party aggregation. The FAQ says notices submitted before 4pm on weekdays are processed the same day unless clarification is required; site notices publish directly after support review, while external notices follow the target portal's dispatch process. myTenders describes two automated compliance checks and a final manual customer-service check before a notice goes live, but no public freshness/status dashboard or supplier-facing amendment SLA is available.

The free supplier product supports searching and filtering notices and recording interest. A legacy/current FAQ references a website-based alert service, but reviewed pages do not document saved keyword logic, semantic matching, profile scoring, relevance explanations or alert coverage. Full multi-source matching is explicitly positioned as the separate human-curated Tenders Direct service.

Buyer Profile and branded portal pages can list current and past tenders, and the general notice search retains portal publications. The reviewed supplier pages do not establish a historical contract-award database, winners, award values, comparable-contract surfacing, cross-source linkage or a defined retention window for searchable notices.

Buyers register organisation records, suppliers can search buyer names and open Buyer Profiles listing their notices, and paying buyers may add a branded profile page. This is a portal directory and publication page, not evidence of canonical authority IDs, aliases, merger handling, cross-source aggregation, spend analysis or entity-resolution quality.

Supplier registration captures organisation name, company number, address, categories and operating geography, and buyers can search registered suppliers by company name or postcode. The reviewed pages do not establish deduplication, Companies House validation, aliases, award aggregation, incumbency relationships or supplier intelligence profiles.

No supplier-facing contract-expiry, extension, calculated renewal window, predicted re-tender or confirmed replacement-notice workflow was established. Buyer-side contract-management functionality should not be treated as supplier renewal intelligence.

Buyer-side PRO provides notice wizards, compliance checks, selection questionnaires and procurement-management workflows. The free supplier product exposes tender documents and response facilities, but no workflow turning requirements into supplier gaps, evidence owners, remediation actions, deadlines or tracked readiness was found.

Suppliers can record interest, manage notices in an Interest List, download buyer documents, ask clarifications, receive private messages and submit securely through the electronic postbox. Buyer-side PRO adds FTS/Contracts Finder eSender links, document hosting, Q&A, two-stage procurement and contract management. No supplier team assignments, shared bid workspace, CRM/API or tender-data export is documented; the available RSS documentation concerns site news rather than opportunity data.
